Java Software Engineer (Lending)📍Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE💼 Type: Full-time, On-site⚙️ Industry: FinTech / Digital LendingResponsibilitiesDesign and develop backend systems for lending products, including loan origination, repayment, and risk workflows Build scalable B2B platforms supporting partners, merchants, and financial institutionsImplement core modules such as credit assessment, KYC/KYB integration, and repayment schedulesEnsure compliance with financial regulations and audit requirements Work closely with risk, product, and compliance msDesign APIs and integrations with external financial systems (banks, payment gateways)Maintain system stability, data consistency, and high availabilityParticipate in architecture design and system modernizationRequirements5–10+ years of Java backend development experienceStrong experience with Spring Boot / Spring CloudExperience in fintech, lending, banking, or financial systemsStrong understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systemsExperience with relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL)Familiarity with messaging systems (Kafka / RabbitMQ)Knowledge of financial workflows (loan lifecycle, underwriting, repayment)
