Java Software Engineer

Job SummaryWe are looking for a skilled Java Backend Developer with 3+ years of hands-on experience in building scalable, high-performance applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Microservices architecture, and the Spring Framework. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems that support business-critical applications.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, and maintain backend applications using Java and the Spring Framework.Develop and deploy Microservices-based applications following industry best practices.Build and consume RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services.Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions.Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions.Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues.Required Skills5+ years of professional experience in Java backend development.Strong knowledge of the Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data).Hands-on experience with Microservices architecture.Experience developing RESTful APIs.Good understanding of SQL databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.Familiarity with version control systems like Git.Knowledge of build tools such as Maven or Gradle.Understanding of software design patterns and object-oriented programming principles.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Fluency in French (spoken and written) is mandatory.
