Backend Engineer - Java

Location: Pune, 5 days/weekExperience: 3-5 YearsJoining: Immediate-15 daysKey ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance applications.Build and enhance web services, APIs, and web/mobile applications.Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following development best practices.Develop and maintain microservices-based applications.Perform code reviews, debugging, performance tuning, and root cause analysis.Integrate applications with databases, servers, network systems, and third-party APIs.Collaborate with cross-functional teams and maintain technical documentation.Required Skills & Experience3+ years of experience in web application development.Strong proficiency in Core Java, Spring MVC, Node.js, and ORM frameworks.Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful/SOAP APIs.Working knowledge of relational databases, NoSQL databases, and caching technologies.Familiarity with Angular, HTML5, CSS, and StencilJS.Hands-on experience integrating and troubleshooting third-party APIs, preferably financial/verification APIs such as Perfios, IDfy, Karza, NSDL, RBIH, and JanSamarth.Strong understanding of API authentication, request/response handling, error handling, and production issue resolution.Experience with application performance tuning and optimization.Proficiency in Git and Agile/Scrum methodologies.Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
