Project overview：We’re looking for a strong Team Lead (Backend) to join our Core team and build reliable, high-performance backend systems that scale. You’ll work on microservices, integrations, and distributed systems, ensuring robustness, performance, and clean architecture.The Antifraud platform is developed by several dedicated teams, and we are looking for a Team Lead for the Core team. The basis of the platform is a rule execution system that processes user behavior in real time and identifies potential fraud patterns.The Core Team’s primary responsibilities include· Developing and maintaining the rule execution system.· Designing and improving fraud detection logic.· Enhancing and supporting numerous supporting services that provide data for decision-making.· Ensuring high availability, fault tolerance, and scalability of these critical components in production.Responsibilities· Lead and manage a team of Java developers (task setting, sprint planning, quality and deadline control).· Design and evolve system architecture with a strong focus on observability, high availability, fault tolerance, and scalability in production environments.· Ensure system uptime and reliability through proactive monitoring, incident management, and performance optimization.· Develop and review Java code, following best practices and ensuring production-readiness.· Mentor, train, and support team members in their professional growth.· Improve development processes and cross-team collaboration.· Participate in effort estimation and release planning.· Maintain high code quality and enforce development standards.

Requirements

Hard Skills· 5+ years of commercial Java development experience (Java 8+).· Proven experience leading a development team (3+ members).· Proficiency with Spring Boot microservices.· Strong understanding of OOP principles, design patterns, and multithreading.· Proven experience designing and maintaining highly available distributed systems in production.· Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka in production environments.· Solid knowledge of approaches for storing and managing data in various databases, both SQL (PostgreSQL, ClickHouse) and NoSQL (Redis, ElasticSearch).· Experience with architectural design and microservices.· Knowledge of containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration for high availability.· Strong skills with Git and CI/CD tools.Soft Skills· Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.· Excellent communication and collaboration skills.· Ability to mentor and inspire a team.· Problem-solving mindset and ability to work under pressure.· Proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.· Strong sense of ownership and accountability.· English level B2 — required, C1 — nice to have.Stack:Backend: Java, Spring BootMessaging: KafkaDB: PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, RedisCI/CD: GitLab CIContainers: Docker, Kubernetes, LensMonitoring: Grafana
