Technical Lead – Java, Spring Boot & Microservices

Location: Mumbai, MaharashtraExperience: 8–12 YearsDomain: Banking / BFSIEmployment Type: Full-timeRole OverviewWe are looking for a hands-on Technical Lead with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and Cloud technologies to lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performance banking applications.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the design, development, and deployment of Java-based microservices and REST APIs.Drive technical design, coding standards, code reviews, and engineering best practices.Implement secure, scalable, and fault-tolerant applications using Spring Boot and distributed systems patterns.Work with cloud platforms, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.Troubleshoot complex technical and production issues and perform root-cause analysis.Mentor developers and collaborate with architects, QA, DevOps, and business teams.Ensure application performance, security, reliability, and delivery quality.Mandatory SkillsStrong hands-on experience in Core Java, preferably Java 17+.Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, JPA/Hibernate.Microservices architecture and REST API development.SQL and relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Git, Maven/Gradle, JUnit, and Mockito.Strong knowledge of multithreading, concurrency, JVM performance, and design patterns.Technical leadership, mentoring, and production troubleshooting experience.Preferred SkillsApache Kafka or RabbitMQ.OAuth 2.0, JWT, Redis, and observability tools.Banking/BFSI experience in core banking, digital banking, payments, lending, or financial transaction processing.
