With a strong global presence, they’re investing heavily in modern engineering and intelligent systems to reshape how content is created, discovered and delivered.They’re now looking for a Senior Backend Engineer with strong Node.js and AI integration experience to join on an initial 6-month FTC.The RoleYou’ll play a key role in building scalable backend services and AI-powered platforms, working on large-scale systems that power content and data experiences.This is a hands-on engineering role with exposure to cutting-edge AI workflows and distributed systems.You’ll:Develop APIs and services using Node.js and TypeScriptContribute to scalable, distributed systems and cloud architecture (AWS)Work with structured and unstructured data across varied storage solutionsBuild and integrate RAG pipelines and AI-driven workflowsImplement LLM integration patterns and multi-step orchestrationCollaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, high-quality systemsWhat They’re Looking ForStrong experience with Node.js and TypeScript in productionExperience building scalable systems in AWS (or similar cloud platforms)Solid understanding of data storage (MySQL, document stores, blob storage)Hands-on experience with AI/LLM integrationsExposure to tools such as:Amazon Bedrock (or equivalent)Vector/semantic search (e.g. OpenSearch)Experience building AI-driven workflows and pipelinesWhy This Role?Opportunity to contribute to a high-impact AI transformation projectWork on real-world AI applications at scaleStrong engineering environment with modern toolingFlexible hybrid setup (min. 1 day onsite in London)If you’re a backend engineer with AI experience looking for your next contract, this is a great opportunity to get stuck into a forward-thinking project quickly.📩 Apply via the link or reach out for a confidential conversation.
