We're Hiring: React.js Developer (Mid-Level) | Remote, Full-TimeSeatLayer (seatlayer.io) is building the seating layer for the ticketing world — an interactive seating chart SDK (JavaScript + React) that lets developers embed branded 2D and 3D seat selection directly into their product, with live inventory, holds, and bookings handled under the hood.We're growing our engineering team and looking for a Mid-Level React.js Developer to help us build and scale the SeatPicker SDK and the surrounding platform.What you'll work on:• Build and maintain React components powering our SeatPicker SDK (2D + optional 3D seat selection)• Translate complex venue/seat-map data into smooth, performant UI• Work closely with backend engineers to integrate live inventory, holds, and booking APIs• Optimize rendering performance for large, interactive seat maps (SVG/Canvas/WebGL)• Write clean, reusable, well-documented code and contribute to SDK architecture decisions• Collaborate with product and design to ship features developers actually love usingWhat we're looking for:• 2–4 years of hands-on experience with React.js and modern JavaScript/TypeScript• Strong understanding of component architecture, state management, and hooks• Experience consuming and integrating REST APIs• Comfort with Git-based workflows and collaborative development• Bonus: experience with SVG/Canvas rendering, WebGL, or Three.js• Bonus: experience building embeddable SDKs or widgets used by third-party developers• Strong communication skills and comfort working in a fully remote, async-friendly teamWhy SeatLayer:• Fully remote — work from anywhere• Work on a genuinely technical, developer-facing product (not just another CRUD app)• Real ownership — your code ships directly into a product used by ticketing platforms and venues• Small, fast-moving team where your input shapes the roadmapInterested?
