Role Description The Director role at Fractal is a full-time, on-site position based in Kolkata. The Director will lead cross-functional teams to design and deliver AI and analytics solutions that drive measurable business outcomes for clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing project delivery, managing client relationships, setting strategic priorities, and ensuring alignment between technical work and business goals. The role involves mentoring and developing team members, coordinating with global stakeholders, and contributing to thought leadership, solution frameworks, and best practices. The Director is expected to monitor performance metrics, manage budgets and timelines, and support business development through opportunity identification and proposal reviews.QualificationsDemonstrated leadership experience in analytics, consulting, technology, or related domains, including managing multidisciplinary teams and complex projects.Strong background in data, AI, or digital transformation, with the ability to translate business problems into analytical solutions and actionable roadmaps.Proven client management and stakeholder engagement skills, including negotiation, expectation management, and executive-level communication.Experience in strategic planning, portfolio management, and governance for large-scale programs or multiple concurrent initiatives.Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling abilities, with comfort in briefing senior leaders and driving consensus.Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, prioritize effectively, and make informed decisions under ambiguity.Relevant academic background such as an advanced degree in business, engineering, statistics, computer science, or a related field.Exposure to global teams and multicultural work environments; prior experience working with Fortune 500® clients is an advantage.Experience with P&L ownership, resource planning, or practice-building activities is beneficial.
