Role Description The Director role is a full-time, on-site position based at K.R. Mangalam University in Gurgaon. The Director will provide strategic academic and administrative leadership, ensuring alignment with the university’s vision, mission, and quality standards. Daily responsibilities include overseeing academic programs, managing faculty and staff, monitoring student outcomes, and driving initiatives in research, innovation, and industry collaboration. The Director will develop and implement policies, manage budgets and resources, and support accreditation and compliance processes. The role also involves representing the university in external forums, strengthening partnerships, and fostering an inclusive, learner-centric campus culture.QualificationsProven leadership and management skills, including team leadership, strategic planning, and decision-making.Strong academic administration experience, such as curriculum development, quality assurance, and policy implementation.Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement abilities to collaborate with faculty, students, and external partners.Demonstrated experience in research promotion, innovation, and industry or community collaboration.Competence in budgeting, resource allocation, and data-driven performance monitoring.Advanced degree (preferably PhD) in a relevant academic discipline from a recognized institution.Prior experience in a senior academic or administrative position in higher education is highly desirable.Commitment to inclusive practices, ethical governance, and continuous improvement in teaching and learning.
