Apply & track with Apply EdgeRole PurposeThe Master Data Administrator is responsible for managing, maintaining, and improving Avnzor’s supplier product catalogue of approximately 50,000 SKUs.The role will act as the central owner of catalogue data, ensuring that all product information is accurate, complete, structured, validated, and ready for use across the website, mobile application, ERP, WMS, marketplaces, buying files, and internal reporting systems.The successful candidate must be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, with the ability to clean, consolidate, analyse, validate, and manage large volumes of supplier and product data.Key Responsibilities1. Supplier Catalogue ManagementOwn and maintain a supplier catalogue containing approximately 50,000 SKUs.Create, update, validate, and archive product records.Ensure each SKU has complete and accurate product information.Maintain one reliable master catalogue as the single source of truth.Regularly audit catalogue data to identify missing, duplicated, incorrect, or outdated records.Manage catalogue updates received from suppliers, Buying, Commercial, Operations, and other departments.Maintain a full history and archive of catalogue changes.2. Data Validation and Quality ControlValidate all new product information before products are created or published.Ensure mandatory product fields are complete.Verify barcodes and supplier product codes.Identify and resolve duplicate SKU records.Standardise naming conventions, brands, categories, units, and attributes.Ensure pack sizes, units of measurement, weights, and dimensions are accurate.Perform regular catalogue accuracy audits.Investigate and resolve catalogue discrepancies across systems.Prevent incorrect product information from reaching customers or internal teams.Maintain defined catalogue data-quality standards.5. New SKU Creation and Product OnboardingCollect product data from suppliers and the Buying team.Review supplier files for completeness and accuracy.Create new products and SKUs in the relevant systems.Ensure new products are fully set up before stock arrives.Coordinate missing information, images, pricing, and documentation.Track products from initial supplier submission through to publication.Ensure new products are correctly categorised and searchable.Confirm that all required fields are completed before products go live.6. Mass Uploads and System UpdatesPrepare, validate, and execute mass-upload files.Ensure upload templates follow the required system format.Validate successful uploads and identify failed records.Correct errors and resubmit rejected product records.Maintain records of all mass uploads and catalogue changes.Coordinate with Technology, ERP, WMS, Ecommerce, and Marketplace teams when system issues occur.Ensure data is accurately transferred between the master catalogue and operational systems.7. Ecommerce and Marketplace Catalogue SupportEnsure product data is ready for publication on the Avnzor website and application.Prepare product data for Amazon, Noon, Trendyol, and other marketplaces.Maintain channel-specific product attributes and templates.Support bulk product listings and product updates.Resolve rejected or suppressed marketplace listings caused by catalogue data.Ensure product titles, images, descriptions, pricing, and attributes are accurate across channels.Coordinate with Ecommerce and Marketplace teams to resolve listing discrepancies.8. Category and Product ClassificationMaintain the product category hierarchy.Assign products to the correct departments, categories, and subcategories.Maintain product taxonomy and product attributes.Ensure consistent classification across all systems.Review and correct products listed under incorrect categories.Support catalogue navigation, filtering, search, and merchandising.Work with Buying and Merchandising to improve product discoverability.9. Pricing and Commercial DataMaintain supplier cost prices and recommended retail prices.Update selling prices following approved commercial instructions.Validate promotional price files before upload.Identify missing, incorrect, or inconsistent pricing.Support price comparisons and supplier catalogue analysis.Ensure pricing files are accurately reflected in relevant systems.Maintain a complete record of approved price changes.10.
