The business works closely with designers, architects and clients to transform concepts into highly detailed, premium interior solutions.Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Joinery Draftsman with strong AutoCAD and joinery experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing accurate 2D and 3D technical drawings, shop drawings and layouts for custom furniture, cabinetry, joinery and interior fit-out projects. You will translate design concepts and architectural drawings into practical, production-ready technical drawings while coordinating closely with designers, project managers and the production team.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings and layouts for custom joinery, furniture, cabinetry and interior fit-out projects using AutoCADInterpret architectural and design drawings to develop accurate and practical shop drawings for productionCoordinate with designers, project managers and production teams to ensure drawings meet project specifications and client requirementsCalculate dimensions and weight limitations and advise on appropriate hardware, finishes and materialsConduct site measurements when required to ensure dimensional accuracy and alignment with approved designsRevise drawings based on feedback from clients, designers or project managersEnsure technical drawings comply with relevant industry standards, company guidelines and project timelinesMaintain accurate documentation and drawing revisions throughout the production cycleRequirementsDiploma or degree in Drafting, Architecture, Interior Design or a related field5+ years of relevant experience as a Draftsman within joinery, carpentry, furniture manufacturing or a related industryMandatory proficiency in AutoCADStrong understanding of joinery detailing, furniture construction methods and materialsExperience producing accurate, high-quality technical and shop drawingsStrong attention to detail and dimensional accuracyAbility to understand architectural/design drawings and convert concepts into production-ready drawingsGood communication and collaboration skillsKnowledge of UAE/local building codes and regulations is an advantageBenefitsWhat the Client OffersAED 10,000 + BenefitsOpportunity to work on prestigious, high-end residential and commercial projectsExposure to bespoke luxury furniture, joinery and interior fit-outOpportunity to develop within a growing and entrepreneurial environmentWork alongside design, project and production teams on customised projects
