Jr Data Analyst

The Junior Data Visualization Analyst will support the delivery and maintenance of enterprise reporting solutions by ensuring dashboards remain accurate, accessible, and up-to-date. This role is responsible for managing dashboard refresh schedules, maintaining access matrices, validating report data, and assisting in the administration of Power BI and Tableau environments. The position plays a key role in improving operational efficiency by providing ongoing support for business users while enabling the Data and Insights team to accelerate the development of new reporting and analytics solutions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Manage and monitor scheduled dashboard refreshes to ensure reports and visualizations are updated accurately and available to business users on time.Maintain and administer user access permissions, security groups, and dashboard access matrices in accordance with established governance standards.Perform data validation and quality checks to identify discrepancies, data issues, and refresh failures, escalating concerns when necessary.Provide first-level support for Power BI and Tableau users by investigating reporting issues, responding to access requests, and assisting with basic troubleshooting.Assist in the development, enhancement, and maintenance of dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to support business requirements.Document dashboard administration processes, report inventories, data sources, and user access records to ensure proper governance and continuity.Collaborate with data team, business stakeholders, and IT teams to support reporting initiatives and improve the overall user experience of analytics platforms.Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to automate recurring tasks, streamline reporting processes, and enhance dashboard reliability.Skills:Proficiency in Power BI for dashboard maintenance, refresh monitoring, and report updates.Working knowledge of Tableau and other data visualization tools.Basic SQL skills for data validation and troubleshooting.Familiarity with data management, reporting, and dashboard administration.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Good written and verbal communication skillsQualifications: A bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Mathematics, or a related field.Basic understanding of business intelligence, data visualization, reporting administration, and data governance principles.1 - 2 years of experience in familiarity with dashboarding platforms such as Power BI and Tableau, including report consumption and access controls. Understanding of data quality concepts, relational databases, and fundamental SQL querying techniques. Ability to interpret business requirements and translate them into reporting and dashboard support activities.
