Apply & track with Apply EdgeWe are looking for a Judiciary Faculty / Civil Judge Examination Faculty to join our judiciary examination preparation team.The ideal candidate should have first-hand experience preparing for or appearing in the Civil Judge / Judicial Service Examination, particularly the Preliminary and/or Main Examination.This role is suitable for candidates who have either:Appeared for Civil Judge / Judicial Service Prelims and/or Mains, orAre currently preparing seriously for the Civil Judge / Judicial Service Examination and have strong command over the relevant subjects.The candidate should be capable of converting their examination experience and subject knowledge into structured, exam-oriented teaching for judiciary aspirants.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct classes for Civil Judge / Judiciary Examination aspirants.Teach core judiciary subjects according to the applicable examination syllabus.Prepare and deliver Prelims-oriented MCQs, revision sessions and mock-test discussions.Conduct Mains-oriented answer-writing classes and evaluation.Explain important Bare Act provisions, legal principles and landmark judgments.Analyse previous years' Civil Judge examination questions and identify important trends.Guide students on Prelims strategy, Mains preparation, answer writing and revision techniques.Prepare study materials, class notes, MCQs, descriptive questions and mock tests.Evaluate students' Mains answers and provide specific, constructive feedback.Keep students updated regarding relevant recent judgments, statutory developments and examination notifications.Participate in doubt-clearing sessions, academic discussions and student mentoring.Maintain a structured and examination-focused teaching approach.Preferred SubjectsCandidates with strong command over one or more of the following subjects are preferred:Civil Procedure CodeCriminal Procedure / BNSSIndian Penal Code / Bharatiya Nyaya SanhitaIndian Evidence Act / Bharatiya Sakshya AdhiniyamConstitutional LawContract LawTransfer of Property LawSpecific Relief ActLimitation LawFamily LawTortsCommercial LawsLocal / State-specific laws relevant to Judicial Service ExaminationsOther subjects prescribed in Civil Judge examinationsRequired QualificationsLL.B. degree from a recognized institution.Strong command over the relevant law subjects.Prior preparation for or appearance in a Civil Judge / Judicial Service Examination is strongly preferred.Candidates who have appeared for Prelims and/or Mains will be given preference.Strong understanding of Bare Acts and case law.Good communication and presentation skills.Ability to explain complex legal concepts in a simple and examination-oriented manner.Ability to prepare quality MCQs and Mains descriptive questions.Ability to evaluate and improve students' Mains answer-writing skills.Who We Are Looking ForWe are particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate actual judiciary examination experience, rather than candidates with only academic teaching experience.Candidates who have:Attempted Civil Judge PrelimsQualified Civil Judge PrelimsAppeared for Civil Judge MainsPrepared extensively for Civil Judge MainsAttended or worked with a judiciary coaching programmeDeveloped judiciary-oriented study materialTaught judiciary aspirantswill be preferred.Skills RequiredJudiciary Examination KnowledgeLegal ResearchBare Act InterpretationCase Law AnalysisMCQ PreparationMains Answer WritingAnswer EvaluationTeaching & PresentationStudent MentoringExamination StrategyExperiencePreferred: 1–3 years of relevant teaching/judiciary preparation experience.However, strong candidates who have personally undergone serious Civil Judge examination preparation or have appeared for the examination may also apply, even without formal teaching experience.
