Junior Accountant

Role Description We are looking for Junior or Mid Level Accountant, who will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, including recording transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and preparing periodic financial statements. Tasks include monitoring accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, supporting budgeting activities, and assisting with cost tracking for projects. The role also involves ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations, preparing reports for management, and supporting internal and external audits. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Riyadh, working closely with project teams and management to provide accurate, timely financial information.Qualifications* Preferably 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience.* Fresh graduates may also be considered if they possess strong accounting knowledge and practical understanding.* Good knowledge and experience in using accounting software and ERP systems.* Knowledge of bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, and general ledger accounting.* Ability to maintain project-wise costing, expenses, revenues, and profitability records.* Good understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.* Ability to prepare Profit & Loss statements, financial summaries, project cost reports, and management reports.* Ability to monitor budgets against actual costs and identify variances.* Good understanding of financial documentation, invoices, payments, receipts, and supporting records.* Knowledge of VAT and basic accounting compliance requirements is an advantage.* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.* Good attention to detail and accuracy.* Effective verbal and written communication skills.* Ability to organize and manage multiple accounting tasks and projects simultaneously.* Ability to work independently and coordinate with management, operations, procurement, and project teams when required.* Professional certifications in Accounting or Finance are considered an advantage, but are not mandatory.Location : Riyadh , Saudi Arabia
