This role is ideal for candidates with strong accounting fundamentals, attention to detail, and the ability to support day-to-day finance operations in a fast-paced environment.Position: Junior Accountant Location: Abu Dhabi Employment Type: Full-TimeKey ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Finance OperationsAssist in day-to-day accounting activities and financial transactionsPrepare and maintain invoices, payment vouchers, and journal entriesSupport accounts payable and accounts receivable processesReconcile bank statements and financial recordsMaintain proper documentation and filing of financial recordsReporting & ReconciliationAssist in preparing monthly financial reports and reconciliationsSupport month-end closing activitiesVerify financial data accuracy and resolve discrepanciesMaintain accurate accounting records and audit-ready documentationCompliance & CoordinationEnsure compliance with company financial policies and proceduresCoordinate with internal departments regarding invoices, payments, and documentationSupport VAT-related documentation and finance operations where requiredAdministrative SupportAssist the finance team with administrative and reporting tasksMaintain confidentiality of financial and company informationSupport ad-hoc finance and accounting requirements as assignedQualifications & RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field1–3 years of accounting experience preferredStrong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial processesProficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems/ERP softwareGood analytical and numerical skills with attention to detailAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlinesStrong communication and coordination skillsFluency in English is mandatoryPreferred ProfileExperience working within a manual accounting environment and ERP/accounting systems preferredAt Terracotta, your voice counts, your ideas matter, and your success is celebrated.
