Applicants will join a company recognized as a solid partner for innovative blasting and coating solutions.Role Description The Junior Accountant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Dubai. This role is responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations, including recording journal entries, maintaining ledgers, processing vendor invoices, and assisting with accounts payable and receivable. The Junior Accountant will help reconcile bank statements, prepare basic financial reports, and support month-end closing activities. The role also involves coordinating with internal departments, organizing financial documentation, and ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant accounting standards. The successful candidate will work closely with senior accounting staff to improve processes and contribute to accurate, timely financial information.Qualifications Foundational accounting skills, including general ledger posting, journal entries, and basic financial reporting.Experience or familiarity with accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, and bank reconciliations.Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications, especially Excel for spreadsheets and data analysis.Strong numerical aptitude, attention to detail, and ability to maintain accurate financial records.Good organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.Clear written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with finance colleagues and other departments.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications in progress (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CMA) are an advantage.Knowledge of basic taxation concepts and local financial regulations in the UAE is beneficial.Ability to work on-site in Dubai and to learn and grow within a dynamic industrial and engineering environment.
