MPFM is committed to high service standards, operational efficiency, and long-term client relationships.Role Description The Junior Accountant is a full-time, on-site role based in Jeddah, supporting the finance team in day-to-day accounting operations. Responsibilities include recording financial transactions, maintaining general ledger entries, and assisting with accounts payable and receivable processing. The role involves preparing basic financial reports, supporting month-end and year-end closing activities, and ensuring documents are properly filed and compliant with company policies. The Junior Accountant will help reconcile bank statements, monitor expense records, and coordinate with internal departments to resolve billing and payment queries. The position requires attention to detail, accurate data entry, and collaboration with senior accountants to support audits and continuous process improvements.Qualifications Strong skills in basic accounting, bookkeeping, and financial data entry, with the ability to manage general ledger postings and reconciliations.Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel (e.g., spreadsheets, formulas, pivot tables) for recording and analyzing financial information.Knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice handling, payment tracking, and collections support.Solid understanding of fundamental financial principles and reporting, including support for month-end and year-end closing.Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.Effective written and verbal communication skills in a professional environment; ability to work collaboratively with finance and operational teams.Relevant educational background such as a diploma or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Previous internship or 1–2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role is an advantage, preferably in facilities management or service-oriented industries.Familiarity with local financial regulations and basic tax concepts in Saudi Arabia is a plus.
