Junior Accountant

Job Title: Junior Accountant Location: Hong Kong Reporting to: Director of Finance (Hong Kong)Job SummaryWe are seeking a meticulous and reliable Junior Accountant to support finance operations for our Singapore entity. You will be responsible for day-to-day accounting tasks, ensure compliance with local accounting standards and tax regulations, and support monthly and year-end financial closing. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional to grow with an expanding entertainment company.Key Responsibilities· Handle daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, staff expense claims and bank reconciliations.· Process vendor invoices, reimbursement requests and payment instructions accurately and in a timely manner.· Maintain proper accounting records, vouchers and supporting documentation in compliance with local Reporting Standards and company policies.· Assist with monthly financial closing, preparation of management reports and balance sheet reconciliation.· Support GST filing, annual tax computation and statutory audit processes.· Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting for local operations.· Liaise with local banks, auditors and tax agents as required.· Work closely with the Hong Kong finance team to align financial processes and reporting standards.· Support ad-hoc finance and administrative tasks as assigned.Requirements· Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.· 1–3 years of solid accounting experience; experience in entertainment, events or MNC environments is preferred.· Sound knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and GST regulations.· Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks, SAP) and advanced MS Excel skills.· Meticulous, well-organized and highly responsible.· Good command of English and Mandarin for effective communication with regional teams.· Strong work ethic, ability to work independently and meet deadlines consistently.What We Offer· Competitive salary and performance bonus.· Clear career progression path in a fast-growing regional company.· Exposure to multi-market finance operations across Hong Kong, Mainland China and Singapore.· Vibrant company culture and complimentary show tickets.· Support for professional development and accounting qualification progression.How to ApplyInterested candidates please send your updated resume with expected salary to [Milan <milan@showplus.com.hk>Zhao IKA <ika.zhao@showplus.com.hk>] with the subject line: Junior Accountant Application – [Your Name].
