Junior Accountant

Our projects range from small hydro, wind, and solar to waste-to-energy, water treatment, energy storage, green Hydrogen, and green Ammonia.With offices in Canada, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, and the United Kingdom, we continue to expand our international operations and our team.We are currently looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Accountant to join our Accounting & Finance team. This role is ideal for someone with a background in Accounting or Finance who is looking to develop their career in an international and fast-growing environment.Responsibilities

• Register, review, and process supplier invoices and other accounting documents.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Assist with bank and account reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate accounting records, including general ledger entries and expense reports.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and accounting documentation.
• Monitor outstanding documentation and liaise with internal teams and suppliers when necessary.
• Ensure financial documentation is properly organised, recorded, and filed.
• Support the Accounting & Finance team with day-to-day accounting and administrative tasks.
• Contribute to the improvement of internal accounting and financial processes.Requirements
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, Economics, or a related field.
• Previous professional experience in Accounting or Finance, preferably involving invoice processing and accounting records.
• Good understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Experience with accounting or ERP software.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Knowledge of Spanish will be highly valued.
• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
• Organised, responsible, and proactive approach to work.
