The organization values reliability, accuracy, and collaboration in its support functions, including accounting and administration.Role Description The Junior Accountant role is a full-time, on-site position based at the Surat office. The role involves assisting with day-to-day accounting activities, including recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, and supporting accounts payable and receivable processes. The Junior Accountant will prepare and verify invoices, reconcile bank statements, and help with monthly and annual closing activities. The role also includes supporting tax and compliance documentation, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors, and maintaining accurate financial records. The successful candidate will contribute to timely reporting, assist in responding to audit requests, and help improve accounting workflows under the guidance of senior finance staff.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong foundational accounting skills, including knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping, ledger management, and reconciliation.Candidates should possess proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel, including basic formulas, spreadsheets, and data entry.Candidates should possess good analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills to review financial data and identify discrepancies.Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.Candidates should possess clear written and verbal communication skills to work effectively with internal teams, vendors, and external partners.A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or a related field is preferred; relevant internships or 0–2 years of experience in accounting or finance are an advantage.Familiarity with Indian taxation, GST, and basic compliance requirements is beneficial; experience in manufacturing or textiles is a plus.Candidates should possess the ability to work on-site in Surat, collaborate as part of a team, and maintain confidentiality and ethical standards in handling financial data.
