Junior AI Mobile Developer – Android & iOS

Role DescriptionThe Junior Mobile Application Developer is a full-time, remote role responsible for developing and maintaining mobile applications across iOS and Android, with a focus on integrating AI-driven features and services. The role involves collaborating with product and UX teams to translate requirements into mobile solutions, writing clean and efficient code, and integrating APIs, SDKs, and AI/ML capabilities into mobile applications. The developer will also contribute to debugging, performance optimization, testing, code reviews, technical documentation, and continuous improvement of development practices.Core Qualifications:1–2 years of experience in mobile application development, with hands-on experience developing for both iOS and Android.Proficiency in iOS development using Swift, SwiftUI, Xcode, and modern iOS frameworks.Experience with Android development using Kotlin/Java, Android SDK, and modern Android components.Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), design patterns, modular architecture, and mobile development best practices.Experience integrating AI/ML capabilities into mobile applications, including AI APIs, cloud-based services, or on-device ML frameworks.Experience working with REST APIs, GraphQL, SDKs, and third-party integrations.Ability to write clean, testable, maintainable, and well-documented code.Familiarity with Git, debugging, testing, and mobile application deployment.Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate effectively in a remote, distributed environment.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Nice to Haves:Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, or AI APIs.Familiarity with Core ML, ML Kit, TensorFlow Lite, or similar mobile AI/ML technologies.Experience with App Store and Google Play deployment processes.Exposure to cross-platform mobile frameworks such as Flutter or React Familiarity with CI/CD and automated mobile testing.
