For over 10 years, we've been building powerful yet simple diagnostic and customization tools for car enthusiasts worldwide.As we continue to expand the OBDeleven ecosystem, we're looking for a Junior Android Developer who will help us build and improve mobile experiences used by automotive enthusiasts and professionals around the world.You'll work with Kotlin Multiplatform code shared between Android and iOS, learn from experienced engineers, and contribute to mobile features used by OBDeleven customers worldwide.What You'll DoWork with Kotlin Multiplatform code shared between Android and iOS applicationsBuild, improve, and maintain mobile features used by customers worldwideImplement new functionality and contribute to improving existing product experiencesWork with APIs and integrate mobile features with backend servicesCollaborate with Android, iOS, backend, hardware/embedded, and other R&D engineersTake ownership of individual tasks and features, from understanding requirements to implementation and deliveryContribute to technical discussions and learn from more experienced engineersWrite clean, maintainable code and follow established development practicesHelp identify and resolve bugs, technical issues, and areas for improvementUse AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar to support your daily development workflowContinuously learn and improve your technical skills, development practices, and understanding of the productWe expect1+ year of hands-on experience developing Android applications with KotlinGood understanding of Android development fundamentals and mobile application architectureBasic understanding of REST APIs, backend services, and how mobile applications communicate with themAbility to write clean, readable, and maintainable codeWillingness to learn, ask questions, and take ownership of assigned tasksAbility to work collaboratively with other engineers and product teamsInterest in using AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similarPractical exposure to iOS development, Swift, or working with Android and iOS codebases would be considered an advantageFluency in Lithuanian and full professional proficiency in EnglishHere's what we offer: Fair pay for bold work: We reward your expertise with competitive pay that grows as you doHybrid Work Flexibility: Work 3 days in the office and 2 days from home or wherever suits you best.
