All clients are carefully monitored by a highly-dedicated responsible gambling team to ensure a safe and fun experience.With Fitzdares continued growth, we require an addition to our Compliance Team to support the anti-money laundering operations of the business.Hours: 9am-5:30pm / 11:30am-8:00pm (Monday-Saturday), 9am-5:30pm / 11am-7:30pm (Sundays) 5 out of 7 days a week, weekend work required.

Location: Gibraltar HQRole purposeSupport Fitzdares' anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorist financing controls through customer checks, activity reviews and accurate case records.

Reporting to the Compliance Manager & DMLRO, the role focuses on timely casework, sound analysis and appropriate escalation, with guidance from senior colleagues.Main dutiesComplete Know Your Customer (KYC) checks, verifying customer identity and reviewing supporting documents in accordance with company procedures.Carry out assigned customer due diligence (CDD) and periodic reviews, updating customer information and risk assessments.Support enhanced due diligence (EDD) by obtaining and reviewing source of funds and source of wealth evidence, recording findings for senior review.Review deposits, withdrawals and gambling activity to identify unusual patterns, inconsistencies or potential third-party funding.Contact customers by email and telephone to explain requirements, request information and follow up outstanding documents professionally.Maintain accurate case notes, evidence and next actions in compliance systems, ensuring a clear audit trail.Manage assigned cases against agreed priorities and deadlines, escalating overdue reviews, missing evidence and capacity concerns.Escalate suspected money laundering, fraud or other financial crime promptly to the DMLRO or MLRO through internal reporting procedures, maintaining confidentiality.Refer safer gambling or vulnerability concerns to the relevant team and coordinate follow-up where needed.Apply account restrictions or other controls only within delegated authority. Refer complex or higher-risk decisions to the Compliance Manager & DMLRO or MLRO.Assist with AML reporting, file checks, audits and improvements to procedures as directed.Complete relevant training, develop knowledge of financial crime risks and undertake other reasonable duties appropriate to the role.Person specificationEssential Experience in customer service; strong attention to detail and numeracy; clear written and verbal communication; good organisation and basic Excel skills; confidence reviewing documents and identifying inconsistencies. Able to follow procedures, handle confidential information and seek guidance when needed, with an interest in developing a career in AML and compliance.Desirable Experience in administration, KYC, AML or the gambling or financial services sectors. Familiarity with due diligence, screening or case management systems is useful. Previous AML experience is not essential.
