As a Junior Associate, you will support the investment and operations team across sourcing, diligence, execution, and portfolio management.ResponsibilitiesConduct financial analysis and build financial modelsResearch industries, markets, and competitive landscapesEvaluate acquisition opportunities and investment thesesAssist with due diligence, including operational, financial, and commercial analysisPrepare investment committee materials and presentation decksMonitor portfolio company performance and key operating metricsParticipate in management meetings and strategic planning initiativesIdentify operational improvement opportunities within portfolio companiesAssist with market mapping and proprietary deal sourcing effortsSupport fundraising, investor reporting, and other firm initiatives as neededPartner directly with portfolio companies on strategic and operational projects, providing analytical support and assisting with initiatives such as process optimization, financial analysis, growth planning, and execution of key business prioritiesQualificationsBachelor's DegreeGraduation within the past 12 months or graduating seniorStrong academic record (preferred GPA of 3.5+)Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skillsAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPointExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong attention to detail and organizational abilitiesSelf-starter with a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment What You'll LearnThis role provides direct exposure to the full investment lifecycle, including:Financial modeling and valuationMergers & acquisitionsDue diligencePortfolio company operationsGrowth strategyCapital structure analysisInvestment committee decision-makingExecutive management interactionsCompensation & Benefits$65,000-$75,000 base salaryHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k)Paid time offProfessional development opportunitiesDirect mentorship from senior investment professionalsHow to ApplyPlease submit resume to Jordan.monello@rcgv.com
