Junior Barista – Abu DhabiLocation: Abu Dhabi, UAEEmployment Type: Full-TimeIndustry: Café / Specialty CoffeeJob SummaryWe are seeking a professional and enthusiastic Junior Barista to join our café team in Abu Dhabi.The ideal candidate should have previous hands-on experience working as a Barista within the coffee or café industry, with a good understanding of coffee preparation, beverage quality, customer service, and café operations.Key Responsibilities• Prepare and serve espresso-based beverages and other café drinks according to established standards• Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee equipment safely and correctly• Maintain consistency in beverage quality, taste, presentation, and portioning• Steam and texture milk to the required standard• Ensure the coffee bar and workstations are clean, organized, and properly maintained• Deliver professional and friendly customer service at all times• Follow company hygiene, food safety, and operational procedures• Support the team during peak service hours• Assist with stock handling, storage, and basic inventory control• Follow instructions and standards set by senior baristas and outlet managementRequirements• Previous experience as a Barista in the coffee/café industry is mandatory• Good basic knowledge of espresso preparation, milk steaming, and coffee beverages• Strong communication and customer service skills• Professional appearance and positive attitude• Ability to work effectively as part of a team• Willingness to learn and develop within the role• Must be willing to work in Abu Dhabi• Must be willing to attend a practical barista trial as part of the recruitment process• Immediate or short-notice availability will be an advantageOnly candidates with relevant Barista or coffee industry experience will be considered.Interested Candidates can share their CV to hr.admin@akme.ae.
