The organization actively explores funding and equity opportunities with businesses that have comparable and scalable models, offering interns exposure to real-world food industry operations and investment strategies.Role Description This part-time Junior Business Manager Internship is designed for students from Arkansas State University or the University of Arkansas who are interested in the business side of the food and CPG industry. The role is hybrid, with primary activities based in Huntington Beach, CA and most tasks that can be completed from home. Day-to-day responsibilities may include assisting with market research and competitive analysis, supporting business planning and financial modeling for food brands, and helping prepare presentations and reports for internal and client meetings. Interns may contribute to tracking performance metrics for imported and distributed products, organizing data related to funding and equity opportunities, and coordinating with team members on project timelines and deliverables. The position offers practical exposure to brand management, operations, and investment considerations in a fast-paced consultancy environment.QualificationsStrong analytical and research skills, with the ability to interpret market data and business metrics.Foundational understanding of business, finance, or marketing principles; coursework in related fields is preferred.Proficiency with productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentations, and collaborative software) and basic data management.Effective written and verbal communication skills, including clear report writing and professional email etiquette.Ability to work independently, manage time across hybrid on-site and remote tasks, and prioritize multiple assignments.Currently enrolled at Arkansas State University or the University of Arkansas; pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Economics, or a related field is advantageous.Demonstrated interest in the food, CPG, or consulting sectors; prior internships, projects, or student organization experience are a plus.High level of professionalism, reliability, and willingness to learn in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.
