Based in Kensington, we work with leading suppliers and a loyal customer base across London and the UK.We're looking for an enthusiastic and organised Purchaser / Junior Buyer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has a keen eye for detail, and is looking to develop a long-term career in purchasing and procurement.No direct purchasing experience? That's okay. We're happy to provide full training to the right candidate with the right attitude and willingness to learn.About the RoleWorking closely with our Managing Director, you'll play an important role in ensuring products are ordered accurately, suppliers are well managed, and stock levels are maintained to support our busy operation. With around 1,000 orders processed each month, you'll be part of a dynamic team where no two days are the same.What You'll Be DoingRaising and processing purchase orders accurately and efficientlyHandling supplier pricing queries and working with our accounts teamBuilding and maintaining strong relationships with suppliersNegotiating pricing, delivery schedules, and commercial termsFollowing up on order confirmations and updating delivery informationMonitoring outstanding orders and communicating any delaysHelping maintain appropriate stock levels across key product rangesReviewing product demand and supporting purchasing decisionsWhat We're Looking ForWe're looking for someone who is:Highly organised with excellent attention to detailAble to manage their workload and prioritise tasks effectivelyConfident communicating with suppliers and colleaguesComfortable using Microsoft Office applicationsProactive, reliable, and eager to learnAble to work well in a fast-paced environmentA positive team player with a professional attitudeWhat We Offer:Starting salary: £25,500 per yearPerformance and salary review after 6monthsFull-time, permanent position 20 days annual leave plus Bank HolidaysWorkplace pension schemeMonday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm (45-minute lunchbreak)Full training and ongoing supportCasual dress codeFriendly atmosphere Opportunity to grow and develop within an established and expanding business.How to ApplyPlease email your CV to admin@theshowroomltd.co.ukApplications will be reviewed as they are received, so early applications are encouraged.Due to the volume of applications, only candidates selected for interview will be contacted.
