The role focuses on driving profitable growth through strong brand partnerships, effective seller management, and trend-led assortment planning.Key ResponsibilitiesMarketplace ManagementManage marketplace sellers’ performance including selection, pricing, availability, and content qualityWork closely with sellers to improve KPIs such as GMV, conversion, fill rate, and returnsEnsure compliance with marketplace policies and service level agreementsBuying & Category ManagementOwn end-to-end buying for assigned categories across EJW. Plan assortment, pricing, margins, and inventory in line with business targetsDrive seasonal and in-season strategies to maximize sell-through and profitabilitySeller & Brand PartnershipsBuild and manage strong relationships with brands, sellers, and distributorsIdentify, onboard, and scale strategic brand partnershipsLead commercial negotiations including margins, funding, exclusives, and joint business plansExternal Stakeholder ManagementAct as the primary point of contact for external partners and brandsCollaborate with marketing, supply chain, finance, and operations teams to execute brand and category plansAlign brand objectives with platform/business goalsData & Performance AnalysisAnalyze sales, trends, and customer insights to inform buying decisionsTrack and report category performance against targetsUse data to identify growth opportunities, gaps, and corrective actionsKey Skills & CompetenciesStrong understanding of EJWProven experience in brand management and external stakeholder collaborationExcellent negotiation and relationship-building skillsData-driven decision making with strong analytical abilitiesAbility to manage multiple brands/sellers and priorities simultaneouslyStrong communication and presentation skillsQualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Business, Fashion, Retail Management, or related fieldMinimum 3 years of experience in buying, category management, or merchandisingExperience working with marketplace sellers and brand partners is mandatoryPrior experience in e-commerce / retail / consumer brands preferredWhat We OfferOpportunity to work with leading brands and partnersHigh ownership role with direct impact on business growthFast-paced, collaborative work environmentWho will excel?We’re looking for people with high standards, who understand that hard work matters.You need to be relentlessly resourceful and operate with a deep bias for action.We need people with the courage to be fiercely original.
