Junior Buyer, Ladies Footwear

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a junior buyer to join a statement-led footwear brand. The brands concept is catwalk-inspired, trend-responsive and statement-led. Their vision is to always make the shoe a central part of the outfit. They're edgy, contemporary and confident.This is a product development role, to work on the brands own-branded product. Experience in footwear is highly desirable.The junior buyer will manage their own category and trade the department. They will oversee trend forecasting, product development, fit sessions, fabric sign-offs and supplier negotiation.You will collaborate cross-functionally with merchandising, marketing and suppliers to ensure product launches are met. You will have experience managing a buying admin assistant.The ideal candidate will be highly creative and excellent with trend forecasting to deliver a commercial range. You will have excellent supplier relationships to improve margins and profit growth for your product area. You will be highly organised and have a very high attention to detail.In return, the company offers a salary of £35,000, employee discount, pension scheme, and enhanced maternity leave. This is a hybrid role where you will be expected to work from the office four days a week and one from home.
