Junior Camera Operator

We're hiring: Junior Camera Operator — Documentary Series (Dubai-based)Junior Camera Operator to work alongside our Senior Camera Operator (DP) on set. This isn't an assistant role in the traditional sense — you'll be trusted to read a scene and know how to cover it, while also being the person on set who keeps things human: talking to clients, easing tension, making sure everyone feels good about being filmed.What you'll be doing:Working shoulder-to-shoulder with our Senior Camera Operator on documentary-style shoots, in the UAE and occasionally abroadReading a scene on your own and knowing how to shoot it (if director not around) — we're not looking for someone who needs shot-by-shot directionSupporting lighting and audio setup when needed (most of the time being able to find the best possible natural light on the current position)Following the post-production team's file handling and offload procedures, without exceptionHelping wherever the set needs an extra hand — gear, logistics, problem-solvingWhat we're looking for:Comfortable with (or ready to learn) FX6 an other accessories for itSolid instincts for coverage — you can find the shot without being toldBasic working knowledge of lighting and audioA team player who's genuinely glad to support a senior operator, not compete with oneStrong communication skills — you're at ease talking to strangers on setReliable, low-drama, follows workflows and instructions as given — this matters as much as the technical skillsOwn a carAvailable for occasional international travelHow we work: This is a full-time position with a trial period to start. We run a small, tight crew with a clear structure — senior operator leads technically, you back him up and carry the communication side, and I direct.
