The job location will be at the Tirunelveli factory, but the person must be willing to work anywhere in India. The Junior Chemist will be responsible for conducting quality control tests, utilising laboratory skills, performing analytical testing, and maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong laboratory skills, including sample preparation, safe chemical handling, and use of common lab instruments.Candidates should possess quality control and analytical skills to test, interpret data, and verify compliance with product specifications and standards.Candidates should possess research and development (R&D) and research skills to support formulation work, process optimisation, and technical problem-solving.Relevant bachelor’s degree in chemistry or a closely related field; Attention to detail, good documentation practices, and the ability to follow standardised procedures and safety guidelines.Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional production and quality teams.Basic familiarity with industrial or manufacturing environments is an advantage; prior experience in FMCG, detergents, or materials chemistry is a plus.
