Junior Cloud Engineer

About the RoleWe are seeking a Junior Cloud Engineer to support the design, deployment, and maintenance of cloud-based infrastructure and services. This role is ideal for beginners who are looking to start their career in Cloud Computing and gain hands-on experience with leading cloud platforms.You will work under the guidance of senior engineers and contribute to basic cloud operations, monitoring, and support activities.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in the deployment and management of cloud infrastructure.Support configuration and maintenance of cloud services.Monitor cloud systems for performance, availability, and basic issues.Help in setting up virtual machines, storage, and networking resources.Support troubleshooting of basic cloud-related incidents.Assist in implementing security best practices under supervision.Maintain documentation of cloud environments and configurations.Collaborate with IT and DevOps teams on operational tasks.Participate in routine system checks and updates.Learn and apply cloud concepts through hands-on tasks and training.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree (completed or in progress) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent training.Basic understanding of IT fundamentals (networks, operating systems, servers).Awareness of cloud computing concepts (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).Familiarity with at least one cloud platform (AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus.Basic knowledge of networking and Linux/Windows systems.Strong willingness to learn and develop technical skills.Good communication and teamwork abilities.Preferred QualificationsExposure to cloud labs, internships, or training programs.Understanding of virtualization and container basics (VMs, Docker fundamentals).Awareness of DevOps concepts (CI/CD, automation) is an advantage.Entry-level certifications such as AWS Cloud Practitioner or Azure Fundamentals (optional).What We OfferStructured onboarding and cloud training program.Mentorship from experienced cloud engineers.Real-world exposure to cloud infrastructure projects.Career growth opportunities in Cloud and DevOps domains.Supportive and learning-focused environment.Equal Opportunity StatementWe are committed to building an inclusive and diverse workplace.
