The Role: As a Junior Controller, your mission is to support the finance team in delivering accurate, reliable financial information that helps the business make better decisions. You'll get hands-on exposure to accounting, reporting and controlling, learning the ropes of how a fast-growing company manages its numbers. We're a results-driven company at heart, always measuring, testing and improving, and we expect finance to be part of that. What You'll Be Doing:Support day-to-day accounting tasks, including bookkeeping, invoice processing and reconciliations;Help prepare monthly financial reports and KPIs for leadership;Support month-end and year-end closings, checking and validating financial data;Assist with tax-related tasks, helping ensure compliance with accounting and legal deadlines;Keep financial data organised and up to date across Excel and our ERP;Support budgeting and forecasting exercises;Bring ideas to improve and automate finance processes using AI tools.What We're Looking For:Degree in Finance, Accounting, Management, Economics, Business Administration, or related field;1–2 years of experience in accounting or controlling;Previous experience at a consultancy firm is a plus;Solid understanding of accounting principles;Comfortable working with Excel;Analytical mindset, with a curiosity to understand the story behind the numbers;Rigorous, organised and detail-oriented;Eager to learn, with a proactive attitude;Strong interest in using AI tools and automation to work smarter;Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV is a plus;Fluency in English (written and spoken) is a plus.What's in It for You:Competitive salary plus performance bonuses that reward your winsSolid training and ongoing learning opportunities to keep you sharpFlexible hybrid setup: 2 days in our Lisbon office, 3 days from wherever you work bestA startup vibe where your voice matters and your ideas get heard
