Our company is made up of a team of more than 850 professionals across its different operational areas.Neotalent, the responsive people.More information at www.neotalent.pt/en and https://neotalent.pt/en/careers/.We are looking for a Junior Cybersecurity Analyst to join our teams and work with an international insurance industry client.What will your responsibilities be?Manage and resolve issues identified during password scanning activities.Maintain and update troubleshooting documentation and operational procedures.Organize and coordinate troubleshooting sessions with network, systems, database, and infrastructure teams.Communicate password scan coverage rates and metrics to the password security team and relevant governance committees.Analyze the root causes of incidents related to password security and authentication.Escalate findings and propose preventive measures to avoid recurring issues.Support password strength governance initiatives across a large-scale enterprise environment.Act as a technical point of reference for weak password auditing and prevention activities.Contribute to improving security posture through continuous monitoring and remediation processes.What profile are we looking for?Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Telecommunications, Information Systems, or a related field.1 to 3 years of professional experience.Experience in systems integration, preferably within cybersecurity environments.Knowledge of systems, network, and database administration.Hands-on experience with Unix, Linux, Windows, and Active Directory.Knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server, and AS400 environments.Experience with PowerShell scripting.Strong understanding of security risks, authentication mechanisms, and access management.Knowledge of hash algorithms and password auditing/recovery tools such as John the Ripper, Hashcat, EPAS, and Enforcer.Experience working in large-scale and complex enterprise environments.High level of English, both written and spoken.
