Junior Data Analyst

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Data Analyst to support data analysis, reporting, and financial information management across multiple entities and group companies. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of real estate operations, finance and accounting, and data analysis, with good proficiency in Excel and working knowledge of Yardi. Basic SQL knowledge is also required.The role involves working with data from multiple entities, preparing management reports, supporting financial analysis, and coordinating with different departments to ensure accurate and timely reporting.Key ResponsibilitiesCollect, organize, validate, and analyze data from multiple entities and group companies.Prepare regular, ad-hoc, and management reports using Excel and other reporting tools.Assist in analyzing financial, operational, and real estate-related data.Extract and review data from Yardi and ensure the accuracy and completeness of information.Support the preparation and review of Trial Balance, financial reports, and other management information.Identify data inconsistencies, errors, and unusual trends and coordinate with relevant teams for clarification.Maintain accurate databases, spreadsheets, and reporting files.Perform basic data analysis and provide meaningful insights to management.Use basic SQL queries to extract, filter, and analyze data from databases.Support data reconciliation and validation between different systems and reports.Coordinate with Finance, Accounting, Operations, and other departments to obtain and verify required information.Handle multiple reporting tasks and deadlines efficiently.Maintain proper documentation and ensure reports are prepared accurately and on time.Assist senior team members with data analysis, reporting, and other analytical requirements.Required Qualifications & SkillsReal Estate KnowledgeBasic to good understanding of the real estate industry, including property, leasing, rental, or property management concepts.Experience working with multiple properties, entities, or group companies is an advantage.Finance & AccountingBasic to intermediate knowledge of finance and accounting principles.Ability to understand financial statements, Trial Balance, reconciliations, and basic accounting concepts.Previous experience supporting finance or accounting functions is preferred.Yardi SoftwareBasic to good working knowledge of Yardi/Odoo or similar property management/accounting software.Ability to review and extract relevant financial and operational data from Yardi.Excel & Data AnalysisGood proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Knowledge of formulas, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, COUNTIFS, filtering, sorting, and data validation.Basic to intermediate knowledge of data analysis and reporting.Ability to identify trends, variances, and data inconsistencies.SQLBasic knowledge of SQL.Understanding of basic queries such as SELECT, WHERE, JOIN, GROUP BY, and ORDER BY is preferred.Willingness to develop further technical and analytical skills.Communication & TeamworkGood interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to work effectively with different departments and team members.Good coordination and follow-up skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a deadline-driven environment.Team-oriented approach with a willingness to support and coordinate with colleagues.Preferred Experience1–2 years of relevant experience in data analysis, finance, accounting, real estate, or reporting.Experience working with multiple entities or group companies is preferred.Exposure to Yardi, real estate accounting, or property management systems will be an advantage.Key CompetenciesAnalytical and numerical abilityAttention to detail and accuracyGood Excel and reporting skillsBasic SQL and data management skillsFinance and accounting understandingReal estate industry knowledgeProblem-solving abilityEffective communication and interpersonal skillsTeamwork and coordinationAbility to multitask and meet deadlinesWillingness to learn and develop professionallyEducationBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.Relevant professional qualifications or certifications will be an advantage.
