Junior Data Scientist - Crypto & FinTech

Company DescriptionThis position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Junior Data Scientist to join their remote team and work on Cryptocurrency, Blockchain, Digital Assets, FinTech, AI, and Machine Learning projects.The role involves analyzing crypto and financial datasets, building predictive models, identifying trends, and developing data-driven solutions for the digital asset ecosystem.AccountabilitiesAnalyze cryptocurrency, blockchain, financial, and transactional datasets.Perform data analysis, statistical analysis, and predictive analytics.Build and evaluate Machine Learning models using Python and SQL.Identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and market insights.Support crypto market analytics, risk analysis, and fraud detection.Develop dashboards and visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.Clean, transform, and validate large datasets.Work with APIs, databases, and real-time data.Collaborate with Data Scientists, Engineers, and Product teams.Document analytical findings and model results.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.Up to 2 years of experience in Data Science, Data Analytics, Machine Learning, or FinTech, or strong personal projects.Strong Python and SQL skills.Knowledge of Machine Learning, statistics, predictive modeling, and data visualization.Familiarity with Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Good English communication skills.Interest in Cryptocurrency, Blockchain, Web3, Digital Assets, AI, and FinTech.Preferred QualificationsKnowledge of blockchain or cryptocurrency markets.Experience with financial or crypto datasets.Familiarity with APIs, cloud platforms, or time-series analysis.GitHub, Kaggle, bootcamp, or personal Data Science projects.Exposure to Generative AI or LLMs.BenefitsFully remote position.Flexible working environment.Hands-on experience with Crypto, Blockchain, AI, and FinTech.International and collaborative team.Professional development and career growth.Competitive compensation based on experience.Equal Opportunity StatementOur partner welcomes candidates from diverse backgrounds.
