🚀 We’re hiring: Junior Engineer📍 Dubai, UAE — on-site🕒 Full-timeEdGenie is an education technology company helping UK A-Level students learn through live classes, digital course content, and the platform behind it all.You’ll be our first Junior Engineer and second engineering hire, working closely with our lead engineer in a fast-moving environment.What you’ll do:Test new features, investigate bugs, and verify fixesBuild automated and end-to-end test coverageSupport analytics, data ingestion, and internal toolsMaintain technical documentation and runbooksContribute to bugs, features, and infrastructureGrow quickly into owning features and larger product areasWhat we’re looking for:Computer Science degree or related qualificationIdeally 1–2 years of software engineering experienceWorking knowledge of TypeScript, React, and GitStrong attention to detail and an edge-case mindsetA self-starter comfortable with ambiguity and rapid changeDubai-based and available to work on-site full-timeExperience with Next.js, Firebase/Convex, Playwright/Cypress, AI coding tools, Stripe/Auth0, monorepos, or networking/NAS is a bonus.💰 Competitive compensation, based on experiencePlease include your CV and links to your LinkedIn, GitHub, portfolio, or projects.
