Apply & track with Apply EdgeAbout the RoleWe are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Finance Executive to join Kyberlife's Finance team.This is a hands-on accounting role suited to a fresh graduate or junior accounting professional who has a strong foundation in accounting and is looking to build a broader career in Finance.You will initially focus on core accounting and finance operations, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, reconciliations, payment processing, claims and financial records. As you become familiar with Kyberlife's systems and processes, you will progressively take on greater responsibility in month-end closing, financial reporting, analysis and other finance initiatives.We are looking for someone who is reliable, willing to learn, proactive in solving problems and able to understand the importance of accuracy and accountability in Finance. You should be comfortable asking questions, communicating with different teams and looking beyond simply completing a task to understand why the work matters.Key ResponsibilitiesCore Accounting & FinancePerform day-to-day accounting activities, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), bank reconciliations and expense/claims processing.Review invoices, supporting documents and payment requests for accuracy, completeness and appropriate accounting treatment.Prepare and process supplier payments and other finance-related transactions.Assist with customer invoicing, AR tracking and follow-up on outstanding balances.Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting schedules.Upload and maintain accounting transactions in the company's accounting system.Assist with month-end closing activities, including reconciliations, journal entries and preparation of supporting schedules.Maintain organised and complete documentation for audit and compliance purposes.Liaise with internal teams, vendors and service providers to resolve finance-related queries and obtain required documentation.Financial Reporting & AnalysisAssist with the preparation of monthly financial reports and management reporting.Review financial data and identify unusual movements, discrepancies or variances for further investigation.Support the Finance team in analysing revenue, costs, expenses, AR, AP and cash flow.Assist with budgeting, forecasting and other financial analysis as the role develops.Develop an understanding of the company's financial performance and business operations, rather than focusing solely on transactional processing.Tax & ComplianceAssist with GST-related accounting and reporting activities.Support the Finance team in maintaining accurate records for statutory, tax and audit requirements.Gain familiarity with Singapore accounting and tax requirements, with training and guidance provided where required.Process Improvement & DevelopmentFollow established finance processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy.Assist with the development and maintenance of finance processes, schedules and documentation.Use Excel and appropriate technology or AI tools to improve efficiency, analyse information and support finance activities.Take on additional finance responsibilities progressively as knowledge, experience and competency develop.RequirementsDiploma or Degree in Accountancy, Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; 1–2 years of relevant accounting or finance experience is an advantage.Strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles, including double-entry bookkeeping, debits and credits, AP, AR, reconciliations and basic financial statements.Good proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with experience using functions such as VLOOKUPS/XLOOKUP/SUMIFS and PivotTables being an advantage.Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.Good written and verbal communication skills.Able to work independently, manage deadlines and take ownership of assigned tasks.Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to investigate discrepancies rather than simply flagging them.Positive attitude, willingness to learn and ability to adapt to a fast-paced working environment.Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident.Good to HaveExperience with cloud-based accounting software such as Xero.Familiarity with Oracle NetSuite or other ERP/accounting systems.Basic understanding of Singapore GST and statutory requirements.Experience with financial reconciliations, month-end closing or audit support.Experience working with large datasets in Excel.Familiarity with AI or productivity tools used to automate or improve finance processes.What You Can ExpectThis role is designed to grow with you.You will begin by building strong experience in core accounting operations and Kyberlife's finance processes.
