Apply & track with Apply EdgeType: On site, Full-timePosition SummaryWe are hiring a Junior Financial Analyst to support our Wealth Advisors and investment team. You will analyze investments across public and private markets, produce accurate performance reports, and help prepare advisors for client meetings.The role sits at the center of our data: you will reconcile portfolio information, maintain our reporting platform, and turn numbers into clear insights for families. It is a strong fit for an early-career analyst who wants broad exposure to wealth management, alternatives and fiduciary investing.Responsibilities
- Analyze marketable securities (equities, fixed income, funds) and alternative investments, including private equity, private credit, real estate and hedge funds.
- Support due diligence and ongoing monitoring of external managers and fund investments, summarizing strategy, terms, performance and risks.
- Track capital calls, distributions and valuations for private investments.
- Interpret financial data to identify trends and changes in key performance indicators, and flag issues to advisors.
- Prepare recurring and ad-hoc client reports: consolidated net worth, performance, asset allocation, cash flow and liquidity.
- Reconcile custodial, fund and manager data; research and resolve performance discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate portfolio, entity and account structures in our reporting platform.
- Prepare meeting materials and presentations so advisors are fully prepared for client reviews.
- Respond to client and advisor service requests accurately and on time.
- Contribute to process improvements, templates and automation that make reporting faster and more reliable.
- Follow firm compliance policies and support books-and-records requirements applicable to a RIA.Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in financial or securities analysis and portfolio performance reporting; relevant internships count.
- Solid understanding of equities, fixed income, funds and alternative investments (private equity, private credit, real estate, hedge funds).
- Series 65; willingness to obtain if not currently registered.
- Advanced Excel (lookups, pivot tables, financial functions) and strong PowerPoint and Word skills.
- High attention to detail, with the ability to organize, prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Clear written and verbal communication, including with clients, advisors and vendors.
- Commitment to confidentiality, ethics and fiduciary standards.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Current U.S. work authorization.Preferred Qualifications
- Experience at an RIA, multi-family office, private bank or wealth management firm.
- Knowledge of wealth data aggregation and reporting platforms such as Addepar (or similar tools like Black Diamond or Masttro).
- Familiarity with custodial platforms (e.g., Schwab, Fidelity, Pershing) and market data tools (e.g., Bloomberg, Morningstar).
- Interest in automation or data tools What We Offer
