You will be responsible for ensuring that financial data is reported accurately in accordance with professional standards while providing insightful analysis on budget variances. This is an entry level position that offers structured supervision, making it an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a foundation in corporate finance.Core ResponsibilitiesExecute month end closing tasks and prepare journal entries to ensure financial accuracy.Conduct detailed comparisons between actual spending and budgeted forecasts.Collaborate with management and investment teams on six distinct budget events annually.Produce reports and presentations that advise leadership on financial status and areas for improvement.Required QualificationsBachelor degree in Accounting or Finance or an Associate degree with at least two years of relevant accounting experience.Between zero and two years of professional experience for degree holders.Familiarity with GAAP or IFRS standards and cost accounting principles.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.Functional knowledge of SAP software.Strong problem solving abilities and organizational skills.Work EnvironmentHybrid remote and office based schedule.Standard work week with minimal overtime requirements.Occasional travel may be required.Compensation and BenefitsThis client offers a highly competitive total rewards package including a base salary determined by experience and geography.
