Junior Financial Analyst_Mandarin Fluency

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Financial Analyst to support daily accounting activities, financial reporting, and basic profitability analysis. This role will assist with account reconciliations, review financial and operational data, and work with the Finance and Operations teams to investigate discrepancies. Training and guidance will be provided by the Finance Manager.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with gross margin analysis by project, customer, and business line, and help identify significant revenue and cost differences.Review financial and operational data to help identify billing discrepancies, missing costs, and data entry errors.Support accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and general ledger (GL) activities as needed.Assist with month-end close and account reconciliations, including preparing supporting schedules and following up on outstanding items.Help prepare routine financial reports and explain basic changes in revenue, expenses, and account balances.Extract and organize data from company systems and maintain Excel reports.Work with Finance and Operations teams to clarify discrepancies and update records.Assist with other accounting and reporting tasks as assigned.QualificationsAssociate’s or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas, sorting, and filtering.Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and willingness to learn.Ability to communicate clearly and follow up with colleagues on outstanding items.Ability to manage routine tasks and meet deadlines.Preferred QualificationsUp to 2 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, or a related role; relevant internships are welcome.Familiarity with pivot tables and lookup formulas.Experience with SAP or another accounting system is a plus.Logistics industry experience is helpful but not required.
