By eliminating up to 99% of log noise rather than generating more alerts, BLADE enables security teams to focus on what truly requires their attention and respond faster and more effectively.As we continue to develop and grow BLADE, we are looking for JUNIOR FRONTEND DEVELOPER to join our team in Belgrade.As a Junior Frontend Developer, you will work on BLADE’s application and collaborate closely with our development team to build, improve, and maintain its user interface.This is not a framework-based frontend role. Our frontend is built using vanilla HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ES6+), so we are looking for someone who is interested not only in making things work, but also in understanding how they work under the hood.Your day-to-day work will include writing and modifying frontend code, working directly with the DOM, connecting frontend functionality with server-side logic, troubleshooting issues, and continuously improving the way users interact with the platform.WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FORYou should have:·      Good knowledge of vanilla HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ES6+) — we do not use frontend frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular·      Experience working directly with the DOM, including event handling, fetch, querySelector, and dynamic rendering·      Working knowledge of Git, including branching, commit, push, pull, merge, and basic conflict resolution using the terminal·      Basic knowledge of PHP, with the ability to read, follow, and modify existing code·      Basic SQL literacy — enough to execute and read queries and understand their results·      A willingness to investigate performance issues and understand why something may be slow or behaving unexpectedly, including using browser developer tools and the Network tab·      Curiosity, attention to detail, and a willingness to ask questions·      Confidence to speak up when you see an opportunity to improve something — thoughtful observations supported by clear reasoning are always welcomeIT'S A PLUS IF YOU HAVE·      An interest in the server-side side of development, including how servers work, how deployment works, and how different parts of an application fit together·      Personal or portfolio projects that demonstrate practical experience with the technologies used in this role·      An understanding of the broader development process — not only how to build a feature, but how to test it and think about making it simpler and more intuitive for the end userTECHNOLOGIES & TOOLS YOU'LL WORK WITHOn a daily basis, you can expect to work with:·      HTML / CSS / JavaScript (ES6+) — writing and modifying frontend code without frameworks·      PHP — reading and modifying server-side logic·      SQL — executing basic queries and interpreting results·      Git — branching, commit, push, pull, and merge via terminal·      SSH — accessing servers through the terminal using PuTTY, Windows Terminal, or another SSH client·      SFTP — uploading and managing files on servers using WinSCP, FileZilla, or another SFTP clientWHAT MATTERS TO US·      We don't expect you to know everything from day one·      We do expect curiosity, honesty, a willingness to learn, and genuine interest in understanding how technology works·      If you're at the beginning of your career but enjoy digging deeper, asking why something works the way it does, and figuring out how it could work better, we'd like to hear from youWHAT WE OFFER·      The opportunity to work on an innovative AI-native cybersecurity product·      Hands-on experience building and developing a real-world technology platform·      Direct collaboration with experienced developers and cybersecurity professionals·      An environment where learning, experimentation, and thoughtful ideas are encouraged·      Opportunities for continuous professional development·      Private health insurance·      Full-time, primarily on-site in Belgrade, with occasional work from home possible in agreement with the teamInterested in building technology that helps security teams cut through the noise?Apply and become part of the team behind BLADE.https://theblade.ai/
