Company Description Eyden builds energy products and smart hardware that help buildings operators. By installing sensors and connecting to existing building systems, Eyden provides operators with real-time visibility and control over energy usage, reducing costs and waste while supporting regulatory and sustainability goals. Role Description This is a full-time, remote position Junior Golang Developer role. The Junior Golang Developer will support the design, development, and maintenance of backend services that power Eyden’s energy monitoring and control platforms. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing new features in Go, writing clean and testable code, assisting with API development and integration with hardware systems, and troubleshooting issues in collaboration with senior engineers. The role also involves participating in code reviews, contributing to documentation, and working closely with product and hardware teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions for building energy management.QualificationsFoundational backend development skills, including experience with Golang, RESTful APIs, and microservices architectures.Basic understanding of databases and data handling, such as SQL/NoSQL, data modeling, and query optimization.Knowledge of software engineering practices, including version control (e.g., Git), unit testing, and debugging.Familiarity with cloud platforms or containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is beneficial.Interest in or exposure to IoT, hardware integration, or building management systems is a plus.Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to learn quickly in a collaborative environment.Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.Relevant degree or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
