The position involves writing, testing, and debugging Java code under the guidance of senior developers, contributing to the implementation and maintenance of microservices-based applications, and working with the Spring Framework to build and enhance backend services. The Junior Java Developer collaborates with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, participate in code reviews, and follow established development standards and best practices. Day-to-day tasks include translating technical specifications into working code, documenting features and fixes, and assisting in performance optimization and troubleshooting. The role also requires proactive communication, continuous learning, and adherence to project timelines and quality expectations in a remote, team-oriented environment.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong foundational skills in Java and general Programming concepts, (0-4) years only.Candidates should possess skills in Software Development practices, including version control, testing, and debugging.Candidates should possess skills in building and maintaining Microservices-based architectures.Candidates should possess experience with the Spring Framework or similar Java application frameworks.Basic understanding of RESTful APIs, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and web application architecture.Ability to learn quickly, follow technical guidance, and work collaboratively in a remote team setting.Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and clear written and verbal communication.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Familiarity with Agile methodologies and common development tools (e.g., Git, build tools, issue trackers) is beneficial.
