Department: EngineeringSalary Range: $80,000 – $105,000 per yearAbout the RoleWe are seeking an entry-level Java Developer to join our engineering team and contribute to the development, testing, enhancement, and maintenance of software applications.This is an opportunity for a motivated developer with a strong foundation in Java and software development principles to gain hands-on experience while working collaboratively with experienced engineering professionals.

You will have the opportunity to contribute to real software development projects and continue building your technical skills in a professional environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, test, enhance, and maintain software applications using Java.Write clean, readable, maintainable, and well-documented code.Participate in debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving software issues.Collaborate with software engineers, developers, QA professionals, and other team members throughout the development lifecycle.Assist with developing and integrating application components and REST APIs.Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback to improve code quality.Assist with software testing and defect resolution.Maintain technical documentation related to development activities.Follow established software development standards, processes, and best practices.Contribute to improving application quality, performance, reliability, and maintainability.Stay current with relevant development tools, technologies, and engineering practices.Required QualificationsFoundational knowledge of Java programming.Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.Familiarity with fundamental software development concepts, including data structures, algorithms, debugging, and version control.Ability to read, understand, and write Java code.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Effective written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively with a distributed team.Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn new technologies and development practices.Preferred Qualifications0–2 years of software development experience, including internships, co-op experience, academic projects, or equivalent practical experience.Familiarity with SQL and relational databases.Familiarity with REST APIs and web application concepts.Experience with Git or another version-control system.Exposure to Spring or Spring Boot.Familiarity with software testing and software development lifecycle practices.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Compensation & BenefitsThe anticipated salary range for this position is $80,000 – $105,000 per year.Actual compensation may vary based on relevant experience, skills, qualifications, job responsibilities, and applicable location-based requirements.Eligible employees may receive benefits in accordance with the company's applicable benefits plans and policies.Work ArrangementThis is a fully on-site, full-time position for candidates located in the United States.Equal Employment OpportunityWe are committed to providing equal employment opportunities to qualified applicants and employees.
