They work asynchronously across regions and have local hybrid working policies.The RoleWe are looking for a Junior Market Research Analyst to join a growing team. You will support delivering quantitative and qualitative research that gets under the skin of clients' business and marketing objectives. Research areas include but are not limited to deep and relevant consumer insight on behaviours, habits, sentiments, and preferences which will drive forward creative development, media strategy, planning, and optimisation. Enabled by in-house technology, this company is uniquely positioned to create truly useful and accessible insights for clients. They merge traditional qualitative research techniques with a quantitative assessment of users, allowing them to understand the underlying attitudes that drive behaviours.ResponsibilitiesMeeting internal and external stakeholders to understand research needsSupporting the execution of projects and creation of high quality outputs, delivering against the agreed client briefUsing the appropriate tools and techniques to execute robust research as directed by your manager. Typically research will be a mixture of quantitative and qualitative analysis including:Designing and commissioning surveys based on objectives, past performance and existing market knowledgeUsing statistical techniques such as cluster analysis to identify groupings of users based on behavioural patternsConsumer sentiment analysis for brands and their campaigns through the use of social insight tools and/or open-ended survey analysis, leveraging Generative AI tools to assist in summarising qualitative responses and conducting initial sentiment extractionManaging the recruitment of panelists and assessing the quality of the respondent data to ensure a robust and representative sampleAnalysing and interpreting results to generate clear and robust audience insightsSupporting the generation of reportsRequirementsBachelor's degree that demonstrates strong communication and analytical skills such as an applied quantitative fieldStrong academic record or equivalent practical experienceStrong analytical skills, with the ability to identify business questions, analyse data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendationsAn affinity for new technologies, including a working knowledge of, or strong interest in, Generative AI tools and how they can be applied ethically and accurately to data synthesisInterested and open to working with a new platform or learning a scripting languageProficient with Microsoft Excel and experience with SQLDiligent and attentive to detail, able to deliver work and resolve issues in a timely and efficient mannerStrong organisational and project management skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsNative or bilingual fluency in Hindi is essential — candidates without this will not be progressedYou'll stand out if you haveAbility to write concise, direct and balanced surveys which will effectively generate a relevant and unbiased data setExperience using statistical techniques and/or programming languages such as R and PythonWhat's on OfferAttractive salary package: S$45,360 – S$48,000 benchmarked against industry standardPerformance bonus of up to 10%Hybrid working — minimum 3 days in the Singapore officeHealth insurance21 paid annual leave days + 11 public holidays per yearThis is an excellent opportunity for an analytically minded research or marketing professional to grow their career within a fast-moving, technology-led business working with world-class brands.
