Akij Food & Beverage Ltd. is looking for Junior MicrobiologistKey PointsTo conduct microbiological testing and monitoring of raw & packaging materials, in-process materials, bulk & finished products and production environments to ensure compliance with established quality, food safety & microbiological standards.Job Description / ResponsibilityMicrobiological Testing: Conduct microbiological analysis of raw materials, packaging materials, in-process, bulk and finished products according to approved SOPs and specifications.Environmental Monitoring: Perform microbiological monitoring of production areas, equipment, surfaces, personnel and environmental conditions as per the approved schedule.Water Testing: Collect and perform microbiological testing of process, drinking and other applicable water samples and report abnormal findings.Media & Reagent Preparation: Prepare, sterilize and maintain culture media, reagents and microbial cultures with proper identification, performance checks and records.Sampling & Sample Handling: Collect, label, handle and transfer samples properly while maintaining complete traceability and sample integrity.Laboratory Operations: Operate laboratory equipment, maintain GLP, laboratory hygiene, biosafety, 5S and proper microbiological waste disposal practices.Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate test results, worksheets, logbooks, media records, equipment records and prepare routine microbiological reports.Quality & Food Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, HACCP, ISO and food safety requirements; support audits and maintain audit-ready records.OOS, Deviation & CAPA: Immediately report OOS/abnormal results and support investigations, root-cause analysis, CAPA, validation and verification activities.Coordination & Continuous Improvement: Coordinate with QA, Production, R&D, Engineering and other relevant departments to resolve quality issues and support product/process improvement.Educational RequirementsBachelor of Science (BSc) in MicrobiologyMaster of Science (MSc) in MicrobiologySkills Required: Microbiologist, food Safety, Reporting and Documentation, Knowledge on ISO and HACCPExperience Requirements1 to 3 year(s)The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):Pharmaceutical/Medicine Companies,Food (Packaged)/BeverageFreshers are also encouraged to apply.Job LocationHabiganj
