Junior/Middle Java Developer

📍 Lviv We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Java Developer who wants to grow professionally while working in a team of senior engineers. The team is focused on system integrations, API management, and infrastructure development for a large technology platform in the retail industry.ResponsibilitiesParticipate in agile team ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectivesContribute to the development, improvement, and maintenance of internal tools and processesCollaborate with business stakeholders, architects, solution owners, project managers, IT operations, and external vendorsMaintain and further develop technical standards and best practicesAnalyze and clarify complex business and integration requirementsDesign and implement scalable and maintainable integration solutionsDevelop and support integrations in a service-oriented architectureHelp monitor, troubleshoot, and improve existing integration servicesRequired qualifications1+ year of experience in Java backend developmentGood knowledge of Java core fundamentalsExperience with Spring framework and Spring BootExperience with designing and consuming REST APIsBasic understanding of SOAP servicesGood knowledge of SQL and relational databasesUnderstanding of microservice architecture and distributed systems basicsExperience using Git in a team environmentAbility to work effectively in a distributed team using MS Teams as communication platformStrong communication skills and a collaborative mindsetGood spoken and written EnglishNice to haveExperience with cloud platforms and containerized environmentsKnowledge of Kubernetes and RancherExperience with DockerFamiliarity with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code toolsKnowledge of CI/CD pipelines, preferably Azure DevOpsExperience with PowerShell or BashUnderstanding of monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting in production systemsBasic knowledge of AI tools preferably Copilot
