Junior MIS Officer

JOB PURPOSE:The Junior MIS Officer is responsible for supporting, enhancing and implementing Information Systems intended to facilitate the work-flow of internal customers. He/She is also responsible for processing data in a timely and accurate manner and to produce reports required by internal and external customers.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:MIS Support:● Support the organization databases, including creating, putting into practice, and upkeep database structures.● Enhance database performance.● Develop and maintain daily, weekly and monthly operational analysis as it relates to volume,efficiencies, cycle time, quality, and service.● Provide support and maintenance to existing Management Information Systems (MIS).● Develops MIS documentation to allow for smooth operations and easy system maintenance.● Provide recommendations to update current MIS to improve reporting efficiency and consistency.● Understand customer problems and provide appropriate technical solutions.● Analyze business information to identify process improvements for increasing business efficiency and effectiveness.● Work with IT teams and users to determine the needs of the system, and take part in its development and improvement, help with system testing, implementation, and user education for new or upgraded systems.Reporting:● Develop dashboards, automate reporting, and deliver findings to management.● Produce periodic reports and undertake data analysis to reveal trends and the performance of the company.QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:● Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or any related field. A Master’s Degree is a plus.● 0 to 2 years of previous experience in a similar role.● Fluent in Arabic and English. Kurdish is plus.● Knowledge in ERP, SQL and .Net.● High ethical values.● Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
