We are the leading provider of local tax software solutions in Romania.Our team is growing, and we’re looking for a Junior .NET Developer to join the team responsible for maintaining and continuously improving one of our established software products.This is a great opportunity for someone at the beginning of their career who wants to gain hands-on experience working on a real-world enterprise application and learn from experienced developers.Who you areGraduate of a degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Cybernetics, Automation, or other related field;Interested in starting or developing your career in software development;Have a good understanding of programming fundamentals and Object-Oriented Programming;Able to understand existing code and investigate problems step by step;Structured and analytical approach to problem solving;Attention to detail and a quality-oriented mindset;Good communication and teamwork skills;Responsible, organized, and willing to learn.What you'll doAs a Junior .NET Developer, you will work with experienced developers on the maintenance and continuous improvement of an established enterprise software application.Your responsibilities will include:Analyzing reported issues and understanding their root causes;Understanding existing application code and business logic;Implementing fixes and small enhancements;Developing and maintaining application modules;Working with C# and ASP.NET;Working with Microsoft SQL Server and SQL queries;Working with web technologies such as JavaScript, jQuery and AJAX;Testing and debugging your changes;Investigating and resolving software issues;Participating in the entire process from requirements analysis to development and testing;Writing and maintaining technical documentation;Collaborating with other developers and team members;Gradually taking ownership of increasingly complex tasks as you gain experience.

Requirements

Basic knowledge of C#;Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts;Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases;Familiarity with web development concepts;Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript;Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills;Ability to learn and understand an existing software system.Nice to haveAcademic, personal, internship, or freelance programming experience;Experience with ASP.NET / WebForms;Experience with Microsoft SQL Server;Familiarity with Web Services / APIs;Familiarity with jQuery or AJAX;Familiarity with Git or TFVC;Familiarity with Azure DevOps Server;Familiarity with Agile methodologies;Previous experience maintaining or working with an existing application.You don't need to know all of the technologies above.
